approached me yesterday if I could extract the new thumper map (read all about it here!). So I thought lets take this a bit further and overlay it with my Historical Guide to Tyria.. Some interesting things showed up.

• There are no thumpers in Drakar lake.. even though there was a bit of a dragon champion in it before.. you know, the one that corrupted Svanir.
• A few know locations are marked:
  • Ice Column Statue - A large statue of a dragon (concept art)
  • Gunnar's Hold - The main Norn "city" before Jormag showed up and drove them south
  • Slavers Excile - the last stronghold of the Stone Summit.
  • Vloxen Excavations - The main Asura gate to the Tarnished Coast
  • Raven's Point - The main shrine to Raven, overrun by Destroyers
  • Sepulchre of Dragrimmar - Contains the magic anvil of Dragrimmar
  • Sifhalla - Sif Shadowhunter's outpost aka "Bear Mother's Cave"
  • Darkrime Delves - A large Jotun outpost
  • Gursteig's Cavern - A large cave, home to Lissah the Packleader and her stonewolves
  • Last Hierophant's Stronghold- The last big stronghold of the Flame Legion before they got overthrown
  • Kralkatorik - An Elder-Dragon was here, not important /s
